Registration and product evidence do different jobs
Network notification records the generation connected at a property. Product evidence shows whether the complete device meets the route’s technical requirements. One does not replace the other.
Have the exact details ready
- Property and electricity supply details.
- The complete product and inverter model.
- Rated AC output and any existing generation.
- The installation and connection date.
- A copy of the submitted confirmation.
If you already have solar or storage
Do not treat the new device in isolation. Existing generation, storage controls and aggregate capacity can change the network route. Ask the original installer or DNO when the combination is unclear.
